We developed Scout with Viant Traffic to identify infrastructure projects that match the traffic-control products it supplies. Scout collects project notices and bid documents from a large array of government and state websites and stores the bids themselves and important extracted information within the application. It examines detailed requirements and assesses opportunities against configurable rules and commercial criteria for each business unit within Viant Traffic.

The sales team receives a qualification assessment for each project's suitability to the business, as well as key bid information such as value, opening and expiry dates, contacts, and technical asset requirements. Furthermore, the bid documents are annotated to highlight important sections and information, and the user is supplied with a decision-making trail, justifying qualifications and providing links to supporting evidence. Staff can review the evidence, correct an assessment if necessary and decide which projects to pursue without reconstructing the research themselves. In use across the wider Viant Traffic group, Scout had processed more than 230,000 documents as of August 2026.

We worked with Acelo to build a platform that collects large volumes of information from LinkedIn and wider web sources at low cost. It brings this information together, filters it against sales criteria and tracks prospective customers over time, recommending which organisations and individuals to approach.

The platform combines this prospect research with the business’s own knowledge to generate tailored outreach materials and messages. It draws on relevant expertise and information about what the business offers, using the research behind each recommendation to make the approach specific to the prospect.

This connects prospect identification and outreach in one application, reducing the manual work involved in gathering information, selecting targets and preparing relevant messages.

Albatross have a partnership with Tonic Analytics to provide AI consultancy into their leading-edge machine learning data analytics programmes.

The consultancy has supported projects including aerospace predictive maintenance platforms, where our work has demonstrated how language models can add a new analytical layer to the specialist systems.

Our specialist knowledge has also supported engagements with rotorcraft regulation advocacy groups in the US. We have provided demonstrators for AI research and data gathering tools that are used to support lobbyists in Congress.

We are working with Digital Futures to develop Athena, a platform for understanding how AI is used within an organisation and where it could be used more effectively. The design brings together employee accounts and organisational records to establish what AI does, what information it handles and how its outputs influence the work.

Athena is being designed to connect this evidence to relevant legal and internal requirements, controls and competencies, and compare current practice with Digital Futures' reference model. By keeping the record current as tools and responsibilities change, the aim is to give organisations a practical basis for oversight, training and further investment in AI.

Albatross have been brought in to handle key complex aspects of the system, providing designs and prototype software, eventually to be migrated into the wider platform.
